A container is not simply a box around a generator. Airflow, heat rejection, exhaust, acoustic pressure drop, service access, lifting, fuel and electrical routing must be engineered together.
Specify the complete package
- Output, duty, voltage, frequency and engine platform.
- Noise target and measurement distance.
- Ambient temperature, altitude, dust and corrosion class.
- Internal or external fuel tank and autonomy.
- ATS, synchronization, SCADA, fire and lighting interfaces.
- Transport certification, lifting points and dimensional limits.
Questions to ask the supplier
Request the general arrangement, airflow calculation basis, service clearances, material/coating specification, test scope, included auxiliaries and shipping configuration. Confirm whether quoted dimensions and noise values apply to the exact offered set.
